Global Care Medical Center of Bay provides critical care unit and life support for acutely ill and injured patients through the 24-hour service section called the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). ICU patients were is regarded as the sickest patients. They are those with the most severe disease of one or more organ systems. Patients who require any of the following are best cared for in an ICU setting: frequent monitoring, special monitoring devices, specials medications, and technology to support and sustain normal bodily functions.
The hospital ICU is primarily composed of the following:
- 6 Treatment beds
- Isolation Room
- Telemetry Unit with 2 beds capacity
- Conference Room
