Global Care Medical Center of Bay houses a developmentally supportive family-centered Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), which encompasses specialized care for high-risk-born infants. These high-risk born infants might be premature ones, have low birth weight, or have critical medical conditions (i.e., heart problems, infections, or Birth Defects ). In this regard, the unit combines advanced technology and trained health care professionals to provide the utmost care for such little ones. In NICU, we guarantee parents that their newborns which closely and medically supervised by our doctors and staff towards regaining good condition and optimum health.
The unit is principally composed of the following:
- Sick Baby Room
- Septic Room
- Lactation Room
- Out born Room
Significantly, all staff nurses at NICU are well trained and certified by the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
