In celebration of Hypertension Awareness Month, a lay forum was successfully held in Brgy. San Isidro, Bay, Laguna, bringing essential information on blood pressure control closer to the community.
Led by Dr. Frances Valderrama-Asuncion, Internal Medicine physician, the session highlighted the importance of early detection, healthy lifestyle choices, and regular monitoring in preventing hypertension and its complications.
The activity also featured YAKAP registration, extending support and access to healthcare services for more members of the community.
