The Department of Pediatrics is committed to provide quality of care both in the specialty and sub-specialties: Allergy and Immunology, Cardiology, Critical Care, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology, Pediatric Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, Neonatology, and Pulmonology. 

The Department has excellent facilities which include a pediatric unit, pediatric and neonatal intensive care facilities. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) fulfills high standard of care. It is currently equip with incubator, ventilator, and photo therapy unit (Bili Light) with the following rooms: sick baby room, septic room, and out born. The hospital has Maternal and Child Services Unit wherein newborns are immediately roomed-in with their mothers. Breastfeeding is encouraged and strictly observed in these areas. The Birthing Center is located at the second floor of the hospital where mothers identified as having non–complicated pregnancies and deliveries are admitted. 

The department mission is to treat and improve the health of all children in the neighborhood of Bay and as well as in nearby towns. 

At present, the department offers active consultations and referral system with Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Dermatology, Pedia-Endocrinology, Pedia-Pulmonology, Pediatric Urology, and Pediatric Anesthesiology.
